You don't need any paid software. Just Canva for the simplest designs. And just Canva + Photopea as soon as we start slicing clipart not on a straight line.

And if you're looking at those designs and thinking "I have NO idea how to crop like that" - don't be intimidated! I'll walk you through it step-by-step, and we'll gradually add in complexity until you're a gift card holder master!

"Do I need Canva Pro or any other paid product?"

Nope! Every technique used here is available in the free version of Canva. Photopea is also a FREE tool.

"Do I need artistic skills? Or like a stylus or something?"

Nope! (I bet I'm a worse artist than you are.) One reason we'll use Photopea is precisely because it has a tool that lets us fix whenever we make a mistake cropping.

"I can't picture how these gift cards work. Will my customers be confused?"

Basically they are a double-sided pocket with a double-sided "lid" that pops off to reveal the gift card inside. I'll walk you through how to add instructions for your customer.

"Will my customers need to use a Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine?"

Nope! Just scissors, glue, and maybe a bit of tape. That's what I love about these. Your customers will be able to give Pinterest-worthy gifts, but without all the fuss and extra expenses of using a machine like a Cricut. Definite selling point here, so be sure to mention it in your mockups!

"Is Photopea free/difficult/scary?"

Free? Yes. Difficult? No. Scary? Well, it DOES have an intimidation factor. But that just means that you won't have as many competitors. But I promise it's not as scary as it looks. I'll give you clear click-by-click instructions, and I've also ordered the lessons so that you'll be able to build your Photopea skills little by little as we go. 

"Is the course accessible?"

Transcripts and closed captions are included for all videos, and all images and visuals are designed with visual clarity in mind.
