Kid's activity books are ideal for publishing on Amazon KDP. After all, parents would MUCH rather buy an activity book that comes as an already printed, physical book. And when it comes with Amazon Prime shipping, that's even better!

But publishing on Amazon KDP can get a little technical. Trim size, margins, bleed, getting exactly the right dimensions for your cover, etc etc.

"Do I need Canva Pro?"

Nope! Every technique used here is available in the free version of Canva.

"Do I need to be a teacher to create these pages?" / "Do the pages need to connect to certain state standards for a particular grade level / any other technical education stuff that I don't know about?"

Nope! As long as you are thinking through about what you want the child to be practicing while completing the activity, it's fine. You don't need to overcomplicate things by trying to fit your activities into a particular education system. If you know that stuff, that's great and you should add the info into your finished product, but if this isn't something you deal with on an everyday basis, I wouldn't bother. The adult purchasing your product can decide if it's the right kind of things for their students/child to be working on.

"Will this course help me publish the activities as actual physical books?"

YES!! This course is mostly about designing the activity pages. You can save the pages as a PDF and sell them on Etsy or Teachers Pay Teachers. But the course also teaches you how to publish them as a physical book on Amazon KDP. So you're covered either way.

"Is Amazon KDP free/difficult/scary?"

It's free to list a book on Amazon KDP. And since it's print-on-demand, there's no upfront investment in inventory. Amazon will take their cut when you make a sale, but there are no upfront costs. There are some technical aspects to publishing through Amazon KDP, but I do my best in the course to make it as easy and not-scary as possible. If you've created printables to sell on Etsy or Teachers Pay Teachers before, you probably have all the skills you need to sell on Amazon as well.

"Is the course accessible?"

Transcripts and closed captions are included for all videos, and all images and visuals are designed with visual clarity in mind.
